Significant documents in the field of transport in the OTS region

During the 6th Meeting of the Ministers of Transport of the Organization of Turkic States an agreement on "International Multimodal Transport of Goods between Member States of Organization of Turkic States" and a "Programme of Interdependence in the Field of Transport" were agreed upon.

These documents are important for strengthening transport and logistics cooperation between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, creating favourable conditions for freight transportation between the parties and the development of transit and transport. The agreed documents are expected to be signed during the Samarkand summit of the OTS.

The meeting also resulted in the signing of a communiqué between the transport ministers of the OTSs.

In addition, memoranda on cooperation between the Kazakh ports of Kurik and Aktau and "Uztemiryulkonteyner" JSC were signed at the meeting.
