President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the new surgical complex, which was built at the Republican Scientific Center for emergency medical care. The Departments of cardiac surgery, transplantology, neuro-vascular surgery and intensive care operate here. They provide high-tech medical care to up to 3 thousand patients per year.

It is known that on March 18 this year, the head of State held an “open dialogue” with medical workers. Today's meeting was a logical continuation of that dialogue.

At the beginning of the speech of the president, he touched upon the work done in the field and their essence. In particular, a new 106 family doctor points and a polyclinic, a thousand neighborhood medical points were established this year. Through it, Primary Health Care has been brought closer to 3.5 million inhabitants.

On the basis of advanced foreign experience, a balance of the population's need for guaranteed free medical care was developed. An additional 3 thousand 600 pediatric nurses and midwife states were allocated to the”medical brigades".

Medicines distributed free of charge by family doctors were delivered from 45 to 70 species. And the volume of funds allocated for this was increased 3 times compared to last year.

Diagnostic equipment was also delivered to 820 primary medical institutions.

More than 19 thousand full-time healing places were organized in family polyclinics. This resulted in the possibility of treatment in the neighborhood itself, without going to the hospital for 740 thousand inhabitants.

Also, more than 10 million 40 percent of the population over 70 years of age underwent screening tests for early detection of Cardiological and diabetes mellitus.

Of the 16 thousand patients in need of high-tech surgery, 3 thousand 200 were treated in the regions and districts themselves.

For the first time in our country, an agreement was signed with 29 private hospitals through the order system.

The monthly of medical workers was increased to 30 percent. Also, doctors were introduced differentiated incentives and allowance payments depending on the effectiveness and result of the work.
