Sodiq Safoyev attends funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

A delegation led by First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safoyev attended the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen was buried yesterday, September 19, at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, next to her husband.

Around 2,000 people attended the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, which will complete the 10-day national mourning period.

For note, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to the new British King Charles III on the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

For information, Britain's Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96, and her son Charles III became the King of country.
