Sony said it is ready to produce human-shaped robots

According to Reuters, Sony, a diversified company specializing in professional electronics, video and music content, computer games and financial services, has said it is ready to develop human-shaped robots. This was announced by Hiroaki Kitano, chief technologist at Sony Corporation.

" In terms of technology, several companies around the world, including ours, have enough accumulated technology to create them quickly once it becomes known that the use of humanoid robots is promising," Hiroaki Kitano said.

P.S. Sony is one of the largest media corporations in the world, whose subsidiaries produce movies, TV and music applications, game consoles and computer games.

In particular, the corporation owns the record label Sony Music Entertainment, movie studios Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures, as well as a full archive of MGM films (together with the American company Comcast).
