Specialists from Turkey are working on the digitalization of medicine in Uzbekistan

Health Minister of Uzbekistan Amrillo Inoyatov held a video conversation with Turkish Deputy Health Minister Shuayyib Bırinçı. The sides discussed issues on development of bilateral cooperation in medicine.
In particular, they talked about speeding up the digitalization of medicine in our country. Increased coverage of electronic services in the system will provide additional convenience for the population. In addition, based on international experience, a system of state health insurance is gradually being introduced in Uzbekistan. The first stage is being implemented in the Syrdarya province as a test.
From 2023 this mechanism will also be launched in the city of Tashkent. There are also plans to introduce the new system in Navoi oblast. In order to increase the efficiency of these reforms, it is planned to attract the most experienced specialists from Turkey to our country.
At the same time, views have been exchanged on creation and development of medical clusters, introduction of advanced teaching methods into staff training system. In the course of the dialogue, Turkish Deputy Health Minister Sharif Birinci said he was willing to share his experience in the above-mentioned areas with Uzbekistan.
In line with the agreement of the sides in the coming days leading Turkish experts will visit our country. They closely support the process of digitalization of the industry in our country, the widespread introduction of health insurance, creation and development of medical clusters.
