Speed reduction from 70 km/h to 60 km/h is included in the rules of the road

From April 1, 2023, the maximum speed of vehicles in the cities of Tashkent and Nukus, as well as in the centers of regions and districts, will be reduced from 70 to 60 kilometers per hour.

This was announced in a government decree. According to him, the second paragraph of paragraph 78 of the traffic rules, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of April 12, 2022, is set out as follows:

“In the cities of Nukus and Tashkent, the centers of regions and districts, as well as in the territories of cities, the movement of vehicles is allowed at a speed of no more than 60 kilometers per hour.”
