Subway speed reduced to 25 km/h

Due to the high air temperature on Wednesday afternoon, the speed of trains on the elevated sections of the Tashkent metro - the ring (Kuyluk) line and the Sergeli branch of the Chilanzar line - was reduced to 25 km/h.

For uniform movement of trains on the underground part of the Chilanzar line, the speed was limited to 40 km/h.

The metro press service reported that the rails and their metal parts were heated to 65 degrees Celsius.
