Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States convenes in Kazakhstan

On March 31, private session of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States will be held in the city of Turkestan, Kazakhstan.
 
"On the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, an unofficial summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS, Turkic Council) will be held in the city of Turkestan on March 31 this year," the agency reports.

We remind that the CCTS unites a number of Turkic-speaking countries (member countries - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, observer country - Hungary). The organization's secretariat is located in Istanbul (Turkey). Uzbekistan became a member of the CCTS on october, 2019.
