Tashkent and Tashkent regions - the main breadwinners in Uzbekistan

The State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan has calculated which region produces the most food products.

Almost 45 % of the food produced in 10 months for a total of 40.2 trillion UZS emanated from the capital and capital region.

Samarkand region is the third largest producer of food products in the country with a share of more than 10%.

According to the State Statistics Committee, three regions of the Fergana Valley (Fergana, Andijan and Namangan) yield about the same amount of food.

The volume of food production by regions in January-October 2021 is as follows:
Republic of Karakalpakstan: 1,3 billion
Andijan region: 2,1 billion
Bukhara region: 2,5 billion
Jizzakh region: 0,7 billion
Kashkadarya region: 2,3 billion
Navoi region: 1,4 billion
Namangan region: 2,2 billion
Samarkand region: 4,3 billion
Surkhandarya region: 0,9 billion
Syrdarya region: 1,1 billion
Tashkent region: 7,1 billion
Fergana region: 3,1 billion
Khorezm region: 1,3 billion
Tashkent city: 9,9 billion UZS
