Tashkent hosts «Week of open communication with entrepreneurs»

As part of the preparation for the open dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs, it was announced that the “Week of open communication with entrepreneurs” will be held on August 17 and 18 of this year. Today, August 17, the Hyatt Regency Tashkent hotel hosted a 1st Panel session as part of the communication week.

It was attended by heads of ministries and departments responsible for the development of the economy, attracting trade and investments, representatives of business and international financial organizations.

As you know, August 20, 2021 was marked by the head of our state as “Entrepreneurs' day” in our country. In this regard, it was established to hold annual meetings with entrepreneurs, analyze their problems and tasks, get acquainted with the proposals and initiatives of business representatives that serve to develop entrepreneurial activity.

Aziz Voitov, First Deputy Minister of investments and foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, spoke at the event and noted the effect of the work carried out on the development of investment attractiveness of our country in his speech.

In particular, forming a new approach to the regulation of the foreign exchange market, strengthening and reforming the banking and financial system, reducing taxes on business entities, introducing additional benefits and preferences for investors, further liberalizing the foreign trade system, strengthening the legal framework, protecting the interests of investors.
