«Tashkent index» provides temporary accommodation for students

There are a number of production and service facilities around the student dormitory that will be established in "Tashkent index", and according to the wishes of young people, they are provided with work during their free time from studying.

A meeting was held in the Tashkent city administration on the issue of providing students with a dormitory. It was attended by Tashkent city mayor Jahangir Ortikhojaev and heads of sectors in the capital, Minister of Higher Education Abduakdir Tashkulov, rectors of higher education institutions in our city and other officials.

The mayor of Tashkent drew attention to the fact that many young people who came to the capital are facing problems in providing accommodation with comfortable conditions, and emphasized the need to provide them with a temporary place with appropriate infrastructure.

He said that if the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education and the rectors form a list of students who need accommodation, then a place will be prepared according to their application.

As it was noted, not every student can afford to live in a rented accommodation, building a student accommodation in need requires a lot of money and time.

“Of course, this issue will be resolved in its own way. Now, the important thing is to provide temporary housing for the young people who came to study until the student dormitories being built this year are finished and put into use. At the same time, the conditions and facilities of the Tashkent index serve to solve the problem quickly and efficiently” - said J.Ortikhojaev.

Also, the mayor said that the necessary infrastructure for living in "Tashkent index" has been formed today, where young people will be provided with temporary shelter, be safe, and there will be no problems with food and transportation.
