Tashkent-Moynak-Nukus flight will be launched

During his visit to Moynak on February 23, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, got acquainted with the construction works in the city.

During the President's visits to Moynak in 2018 and 2019, instructions were given to enhance transport communications. Accordingly, the roads were repaired. Moynak Airport has been renovated and reopened. A new terminal for 50 passengers has been built at the airport, and the runway and runways have been renovated. The area around the complex is green.

The president met with the elderly, local youth, makhalla chairmen and khokim assistants.

"We have learned a lot in the last five years, we have believed in things we didn't believe before. When I first arrived, I said, 'Culture starts in Moynak'. It is happening. This airport is another example”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

Another novelty of the visit is that the districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan have been attached to certain regions for the joint development of the Aral Sea region. The President explained the reason and importance behind this.

"Lots of people claim that the situation in the Aral Sea region is bad. But not everyone has visited here. I have sent leaders from all over the country to breathe the air of the region, see the situation and make a fair assessment. The bulk of money is allocated for the development of Karakalpakstan", the President said.

The head of state asked the population about the current issues in Moynak and the future.
