Tashkent: Over a thousand people have been fired for refusing to be vaccinated

On January 17, raids were conducted in the capital to identify unvaccinated citizens.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health visited 305 businesses and 203 budget organizations. As a result, it has been identified that 359 employees of businesses and 885 employees of government agencies were not vaccinated against coronavirus infection.

As a consequence of the inspection, 1,044 employees who did not receive the vaccine were suspended. Of these, 200 were fined and one facility was recessed temporarily.
