Tashkent to host meeting of ECO Foreign Ministers Council

It has become known that the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization will be held in Tashkent on 23-24 January.

We would remind you that Uzbekistan holds chairmanship in the organization.

For reference, the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is a regional interstate economic organization founded in 1985 by Central Asian and Middle Eastern states and the successor of the Organization for Regional Cooperation for Development, which acted on the basis of the Treaty of Izmir signed by the three founding countries - Iran, Pakistan and Turkey on 12 March 1977.
