TBC Bank Uzbekistan presented a new social project

Today, April 8, a press conference was held on the launch of the "Ornaments" social project from TBC Bank Uzbekistan.
The goal of this project is to create a digital catalog of ornaments of applied arts and folk art of Uzbekistan, and make it accessible to all those who can use these ornaments in branding their future products / projects. The speakers at the press conference were Nikoloz Kurdiani, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TBC Bank, Sardor Babaev and Feruzkhan Yakubkhodjaev, direct curators of the Ornaments project, and Binafsha Nodir, a famous Uzbek art critic and project participant.
Nikoloz Kurdiani presented to journalists and guests of the event the company's policy in the light of corporate social responsibility, and also spoke about TVS social projects in Georgia and large-scale plans of TBC Bank in Uzbekistan. The participants and curators of the project - Sardor Babaev, Feruzkhan Yakubkhodzhaev and Binafsha Nodir - spoke in detail about the long-term perspective and importance of the development of the "Ornaments" project.
The first stage of the project is dedicated to traditional Uzbek textiles.At this stage, it is planned to conduct an expedition to three cities: Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent.
During the expedition, the project participants will visit local cultural centers, museums and workshops of applied arts, and conduct interviews with artisans.
Also, the involved team of photographers and designers will carry out a large block of work on the digitization of national patterns, namely, they will convert the footage into vector image format.
At a press conference, the project participants shared their plans to create a digital platform on which, in free access, digitized ornaments of applied art objects, as well as a full description and history of each pattern, will be posted.
