Tesla restricts sales of 80,000 electric cars in China

Tesla has withdrawn 80,000 electric cars from the market in China due to a defect in the seat belt and software. It is noted that the fault was found in 70,000 Model S and Model X models, as well as in 10,000 Model 3 models.

While the fault in the Model S and Model X cars was related to the control system, the Model 3 showed that the seat belt was not reliable.

The company said the recalled cars will be subjected to a technical inspection and defect correction. It also urged drivers to be vigilant.

It is noted that this is not the first case. Even recently, Tesla returned more than 24,000 Model 3 electric cars from the U.S. market that were found to have a problem with a seat belt.
