Textiles worth $ 1.1 billion US were exported within 4 month

Pursuant to the State Statistics Committee, during January-April 2022, Uzbekistan exported textile goods worth $ 1.1 billion US.

This accounted for 15.1% of total exports, resulting to an increase of 24% over the same period last year.

For 4 months, Uzbekistan has exported 452 types of textiles to 62 countries.

Volume of textile exports:

Cotton yarn - $ 592 million;

Finished knitted goods - $ 249 million;

Knitted pattern fabric - $ 90.7 million;

Cotton fabrics - $ 48 million;

Silk and silk products - $ 21 million;

Cotton products - $ 14.2 million;

Carpets - $ 9.7 million;

Other textile products - $ 41 million US.
