The accession process of Uzbekistan to the World Trade Organization will be accelerated

This was stated by the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev at the Uzbek-Hungarian business forum in Samarkand.

"The next priorities of our reforms are:

ensuring the rule of law;

further reform of the judicial and legal system;

effective fight against corruption;

Improvement of the banking and financial systems in accordance with the requirements of the times;

privatization of large industrial and infrastructure enterprises with state shares;

Accelerate the process of accession to the World Trade Organization and become a full member;

We will also expand the introduction of public-private partnership mechanisms in the implementation of joint projects in energy, transport, healthcare and education," Khodjayev said.
