The activities of the Department of Recreation and Health Improvement of Children will be established

The Presidential Decree "On additional measures for systematic organization of recreation and further improvement of the health improvement work for children" was adopted.

Pursuant to the Decision, the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan is establishing:

A fund to promote children's health and recuperation;

The Department for Organization of Rest and Recuperation for Children.
The Fund pays compensation to camps to cover part of the cost of recreation and health rehabilitation for trade union members' children in camps in an amount equal to twice the value of the BRV (600,000 sums) per voucher, but not exceeding 50 per cent of the cost of the voucher.

From January 1, 2023:

Quarterly 10 percent of the over-fulfilled part of the revenue forecast of local budgets shall be sent to the Fund;
Up to 50 per cent of the cost of camp vouchers, but not exceeding the single amount of BRV for each voucher (300,000 sums) purchased for children by employees of State bodies and organizations, may be reimbursed to them.
A national commission on the systematic organization of recreation and health-improvement for children is being established.
