The activity of passenger transport in light vehicles is considered self-employment

The President's decision "On creating additional conveniences in the management of motor vehicles and the implementation of taxi services without directions" was adopted. According to the decision, from September 1, 2022, the electronic registration of power of attorneys for the management of motor vehicles will be launched through the Unified interactive state services portal (my.gov.uz).

Electronic power of attorney is not required to be notarized and it is checked electronically by RPS employees.

The state fee for an electronic power of attorney is charged in the following percentages compared to the state fee for notarizing a power of attorney (3 times the base calculation amount - 900,000 soums):

for a period of up to one month - 10 percent (90 thousand soums);
for up to six months - 50 percent (450 thousand soums);
for up to three years - 100 percent (900 thousand soums).
The requirement of mandatory training of drivers of legal entities once every 2 years has been canceled.

From September 1, 2022, notarization of transport lease agreements between citizens and legal entities with a passenger transport license will not be required. In this case, these contracts are taken into account electronically by the tax authorities.
