The Best Digital Technology Startup Competition will be held

The Government has approved a decree on the procedure for holding the Presidential Tech Award competition for the best startup in the field of digital technologies. According to the regulations, the competition will be held annually from May 2023 in the following 5 main and 1 special areas.

These include:
Artificial intelligence technologies;
digital technologies in the social direction;
Information and cyber-security technologies;
entrepreneurship and financial technologies;
computer and mobile game applications.

Citizens of Uzbekistan under the age of 30 will participate in one team (3-8 people) in the main competition areas.

Foreign citizens and non-citizens (3-5 persons) working in the organizations, which are residents of the technological park of software products and information technologies, may also participate in a special direction.

Winners of the competition will be awarded in 5 main directions:

1st place - 100 thousand USD;
2nd place - 50 thousand USD;
3rd place - 30 thousand USD;

Special area (one) - 100 thousand USD.
