The chairman of the Senate held an online meeting with the chairman of the Permanent Council of people's representatives of the PRC

On July 6, 2018, the chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva held an online meeting with the chairman of the Permanent Council of people's representatives of the people's Republic of China Li Zhanshu.

During the dialogue, the sides emphasized the issues of comprehensive strengthening of strategic cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the PRC, as well as mutual cooperation of the parliaments of the countries in the implementation of high-level agreements.

Also in the current year, issues of parliamentary cooperation within the framework of the SCO presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan were considered.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to further develop relations between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the Council of people's representatives of the world.
