The closing ceremony of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival was held

The closing ceremony of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival was held. Honorary foreign guests Takeshi Kitano and Krzysztof Zanussi were awarded with a special award.

The artists were awarded in the nomination "For their contribution to world cinematography".

Also, the winners of the international competition "Film in 5 Days" held within the framework of the film festival were announced at the closing ceremony of the film festival.

According to him:

1st place: $15,000 cash prize for the short film "Cassette" by the creative group led by Temur Murodov (Uzbekistan)

2nd place: Nariman Taktakulova and her creative team 10,000 USD cash prize for the short film "Soil" (Kyrgyzstan)

3rd place: Felix Kalmenson and his creative team for the film "Song for the Sun" 7 thousand USD cash prize (Canada).

It should be noted that more than 1,500 young filmmakers and representatives of 19 leading film schools of the world participated in the competition program.
