The continuation of the conflict will not benefit either side. There is no winner in war - Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Erdogan addressed the participants of the Russia-Ukraine talks in Istanbul.
Today, March 29, Russian-Ukrainian talks are taking place at the Dolmabahçe Palace, the last residence of the Ottoman sultans, where Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally addressed the Russian and Ukrainian delegations.
Erdogan stressed that Turkey, as a country that has experienced many problems in the region, has done and continues to do everything possible to prevent the tragic situation in the North of the Black Sea.
According to the President, Ankara will take a fair position in all international platforms, seeking to take into account the interests, rights and positions of both parties (Russia and Ukraine).
"The continuation of the conflict will not benefit either side. There will be no victory in the war," Erdogan said in a statement.
The Turkish leader also said that Ankara was ready to make a worthy contribution to advancing the peace program between Kiev and Moscow.
It is reported that the Russia-Ukraine talks to be held at the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul are being held behind closed doors and will last for two days.
