The Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the CIS supported the initiative of Uzbekistan "Marathon of Health"

The Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries has positively accepted and supported the “Health Marathon” initiative given by Uzbekistan. This became known at a meeting of the Council in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan.
The delegation of Uzbekistan, within the framework of a visit to Kazan on September 10, took part in a meeting of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the participants in the agreement on cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports of the CIS member states.
The event was also attended by First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Leonid Anfimov, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Alexey Morozov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Denisov, Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Sapiev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Kanat Shabdanbayev of the Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Baraulya, Head of the Department of the Committee for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Tajikistan, The event was attended by the Head of the Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Namik Novruzov, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture and sports of the Republic of Armenia Artur Sedrakyan and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov.
As a result of the event, members of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the CIS positively perceived and supported the initiative “Marathon of Health” given by Uzbekistan. At the same time, it was decided to hold the next meeting of the Council in Uzbekistan.
