The day began with the VI meeting of the Ministers of Tourism of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking States

In his opening speech, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov listed the reasons for holding the VI meeting of Ministers of Tourism of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States in the city of Kokand.

In his speech, Aziz Abdukhakimov noted the commonality of the culture, language, religion and history of Uzbekistan with the countries of the Turkic Council, and put forward his proposals:

First, the development of the transport logistics system between the member countries and the observer countries of the Council.

Secondly, a new approach to promoting the tourism potential of the Turkic Council countries.

Thirdly, the urgent problem is the restoration of our cultural heritage, the preservation of its ancient architecture, digitalization, the introduction of effective management and its transfer to future generations.

Fourth, to create a unified calendar of cultural and tourist events of the Turkic states.

Fifth, to stimulate the entry of tour operators into the tourist market.

Sixth, the exchange of experience in the field of tourism education and continuous training of specialists in this field, the creation of academic tourism.

Seventh, to support the «Tourist Capital» initiative proposed by the Turkic Council.
