The executive authorities of the republic will be reformed

In accordance with the Presidential Decree "On measures to implement administrative reforms of the new Uzbekistan" by the Board of the Presidential Agency for Strategic Reforms (S.U. Umurzakov) on the first stage of administrative reforms will be ensured reforms of national executive bodies by January 1, 2023, and on the second stage by April 1, 2023.

Also in the Cabinet of Ministers (Aripov A.N.) until February 1, 2023 on the basis of requirements of this Decree new draft law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" will be introduced, which provides for the following

-define mechanisms for direct interaction between members of the Government and the Prime Minister, raising their status in the decision-making process of the Cabinet of Ministers;
- radically increase the responsibility of the Government in ensuring the development of the territories, infrastructure, economy, finance, monetary and social sphere
- increase the autonomy and responsibility of the members of the Government in the managerial, personnel, financial and other spheres;
- Defines the status of the executive authorities of the republic, the inclusion of each of them in the territorial units, the precise order of their formation and termination, as well as the criteria that distinguish them from each other.
