The first meeting of the Uzbek - Hungarian Business Council

The first meeting of the Uzbek - Hungarian Business Council is planned to be held at the beginning of next week. This was reported by the press service of the CCI of Uzbekistan.

The meeting will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyarto. The program will be moderated by Akram Ikramov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Also, the President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Laszlo Parraga, Deputy Chairman of the Board of OTP Bank, co-chairman of the Hungarian side of the Uzbek-Hungarian Business Council Laszlo Wolf, Deputy Chairman for International Foreign Economic Relations of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce Andras Revo , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Uzbekistan Peter Santo; Deputy Director of the Export-Import Bank of Hungary Robert Gryzhlov will take part at the meeting.

As we reported earlier, an agreement on the creation of a joint business council to expand business ties between the two countries was signed during the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov to the city of Budapest.

It is expected that the Uzbek-Hungarian Business Council will become a platform for further expansion of partnership between the business circles of the two countries
