The Food Industry Association of Uzbekistan has officially become a member of the UN Global Partnership

The Food Industry Association of Uzbekistan has joined the United Nations Global Cooperation Program and the UN Coalition of Business Champions for Sustainable Development in Uzbekistan! The organization became the first official member of our country to join the UN program.

The United Nations Global Partnership Program is a project that helps and brings together leading organizations in the development and implementation of business practices around the world. This cooperation program will help organizations to bring corporate stability, the company's value system and the principles of doing business in line with international standards.

The Global Cooperation Program is based on ten principles: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization's Basic Principles and Labor Rights, the Rio Declaration on the Environment and Development, and the United Nations. It is based on the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

The member organizations of the United Nations Global Partnership, including the Food Industry Association of Uzbekistan, support and respect the internationally recognized protection of human rights, the fight against human rights violations, and the freedom of association. and to promote the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, to eliminate discrimination against the profession, to contribute to the effective abolition of all forms of forced labor and child labor, and to promote the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies.

For information, the UN Global Partnership is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, launched in 2000. It is a member of more than 15,000 companies and more than 4,000 businesses in more than 160 countries.
