Louis Echeverriya Alvares, president of Mexico in 1970-1976, died at the age of 100 years.

This news was revealed by the current leader of the country, Andres Manuel Lopes Obrador, on his page in the social network.

"On behalf of the Mexican government, I express my deep sympathy to the family, friends of Louis Echeverria Alvares, who worked for six years - from 1970 to 1976 as president of Mexico," wrote Lopes Obrador.

According to media reports, the politician gave life in the city of Cuernavaca, his home in Morelos. Information about the cause of the accident was not provided.
