The governments of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia intend to increase the flow of tourists to 100 thousand

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in tourism was signed between the Ministry of Tourism and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The following was reflected in this Memorandum, which is based on the principles of equality and mutual respect, supporting mutually beneficial cooperation and friendly relations in the field of Tourism:

bringing the flow of mutual tourists to 100 thousand people;
promotion of mutual cultural, civilizational and historical architect use to attract tourists;
implementation of mutually agreed measures for the further development of existing tourist routes and the opening of new tourist routes, expansion of various types of Group and individual tourism;
conservation of Natural Resources and cultural resources as tourist attractions;
management of hotel, tourist resorts and tourist accommodation facilities with the activation of mechanisms for checking their effectiveness;
Organization of tourist events and trips;
investing in tourism development;
development of small and medium-sized tourist organizations, tourist sites.
Also, according to the document, the parties will exchange articles, films and tourist exhibits published in the media. For experts and representatives of the media specializing in tourism, mutual trips will be organized.

The memorandum also provides for the organization of joint tourist activities, participation in exhibitions, conferences and symposiums organized in both countries.
