The Grand Slam judo tournament will be held in Tashkent

The number of countries participating in the Grand Slam tournament in judo, which will take place in Tashkent on March 3-5, is growing. The current Olympic champion France team is also expected to participate in the mixed team program.

It is noted that the Europeans registered 10 male and 5 female athletes for the upcoming competition. Among them is Luka Mkhaidze, bronze medalist of Tokyo-2020.

In place of information, we note that more than 23 countries received applications for participation in the tournament. In the competition, athletes, along with the Championship, also compete for valuable ranking points on the way to the Paris-2024 Olympics.
