The implementation of 22 investment projects with the participation of Indian investment continues

Within the framework of the event - rich program of the visit of the delegation of the government of Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of investments and foreign trade J.Khodjaev's talks with the Indian minister of Health and Family Welfare, chemistry and Fertilizers Mansuh Mandavia took place.

During the conversation, the parties, with the support of the leadership of the two countries, noted that the relations of Strategic Partnership have reached a qualitatively new level and cover almost all areas today. It was noted with satisfaction that the investment projects implemented by Indian companies on the territory of Uzbekistan cover, among other areas, the health and pharmaceutical sectors. In particular, currently, work is underway to implement 22 investment projects with the participation of Indian capital.

As part of the further expansion of cooperation, the Uzbek side proposed to focus efforts on the organization of joint projects for the production of medicines. It was also noted the importance of organizing training courses for Uzbek specialists in the areas of medicine that are most needed for patients today, namely surgery, orthopedics and radiology.
