The launch of the «iPhone 14» may be delayed

Apple may delay the release of its new generation of iPhone smartphones. It turns out that this is caused by a political conflict between the countries of China and Taiwan.

Chipsets for Apple smartphones are produced in the Taiwanese company TSMC, and they are delivered to one of the largest factories in China, where the iPhone is assembled. According to recent reports, the company reminded its Taiwanese manufacturers that they should label new products with "Made in Taiwan, China" or "Taiwan, China" instead of labeling them as "Made in Taiwan".

Although this policy of China has been pursued for many years, it began to be implemented in a forced manner after the visit of the speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan last week, when the conflict between the United States and China intensified. Now the Chinese can delay and, even, refuse shipments that are written "Made in Taiwan".

For this reason, the new iPhone 14 smartphones expected to be released in September of the Cupertino company may be released later than expected.
