The main tasks of the Ministry of Sports Development were defined

The regulation on the Ministry of Sports Development was approved by the decision of the government. According to the regulation, the Ministry of Sports Development is subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers and conducts a unified state policy in the field of sports.

One of the main tasks of the Ministry is to train promising athletes to ensure their successful participation in the Olympic and Paralympic, Asian and Para-Asian Games, world, Asian and Para-Asian championships and other international competitions and tournaments.

The Ministry also supports the development of activities of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, sports federations and associations, and other non-governmental non-profit organizations in the field of physical education and sports.

We remind you that the ministry was established by the decree of the President of February 18, 2022.
