The minister of innovative development met with the ambassador of Brazil to Uzbekistan

In the building of the Ministry of Innovative Development, Minister I.Abdurakhmanov held talks with the Brazilian ambassador to Uzbekistan Rodrigo De Lima Baena Soares.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation. In particular, it was agreed to establish cooperation between the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil and to organize a dialogue between the ministers of the two countries.

The parties will study the establishment of scientific cooperation between Uzbek and Brazilian scientists and the announcement of joint research projects between the relevant organizations of the two countries.

It was agreed to study the establishment of cooperation between the technoparks of the two countries and the organization of advanced training of young Uzbek scientists in advanced scientific institutions of Brazil. It is also planned to expand cooperation in the field of innovation in agriculture and finance.

Brazilian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Rodrigo De Lima Baena Soares praised the scope of the Ministry of Innovation Development's cooperation with Brazil and expressed readiness to assist the Ministry in cooperation in the areas discussed.
