The most expensive car license plate in the world — P7 - is up for auction in Dubai.

One of the applicants offered 55 million dirhams ($15 million) for this license plate, thanks to which he set a world record. Thanks to this, the rich gentleman broke the record set 15 years ago in the United Arab Emirates.

This car number was put up for auction by EmiratesAuction LLC. The proceeds from the sales will go to the “1 million food fund”, the global fund to fight hunger of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, ruler of Dubai.
