The next meeting of the head of our state is held with Emomali Rahmon

Today, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has a very intensive schedule of negotiations with his colleagues. At present, the Leader of our country is discussing with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon the most pressing issues of the bilateral and regional agenda.

The importance of creating a border trade zone, expanding the portfolio of cooperation projects with the attraction of capital from a joint investment fund is noted.

It was also noted that the results of the Samarkand summit will further strengthen multilateral cooperation within the SCO and increase the international prestige of the organization.

The presidents noted with pleasure that friendship and good-neighborliness, strategic partnership and allied relations between our brotherly countries are consistently expanding and strengthening.

From the beginning of this year, the volume of mutual trade increased by 16%. Joint cooperative projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, including electrical engineering, agriculture and water management, transport and other industries.

The heads of State noted the importance of the start of work on the establishment of the Yavan HPP - a project that meets the interests of our countries and the entire region.
