The next meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will be held in Istanbul
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed in a telephone conversation on Sunday that the next round of talks between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations would be held in Istanbul.
Earlier, it was reported that the delegations had decided to hold the next round of face-to-face talks on March 29-30.
"The latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian war and the negotiation process were discussed during the talks. President Erdogan and Russian President Putin agreed to hold the next meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiating delegations in Istanbul," the Turkish presidential delegation said.
Erdogan also said that Ankara will continue to strengthen peace between Russia and Ukraine. "President Erdogan stressed the need to establish peace and tranquility between Russia and Ukraine as soon as possible, as well as to improve the humanitarian situation in the region. He added that Turkey will continue to contribute to this process," the statement said.
