The number of illegally cut trees has decreased

Representatives of the State Ecology Committee announced at a press conference that the number of illegally cut trees decreased by 55% in six months of 2022.

A total of 882 trees were cut down by illegal actions in the first half of the year, which is 55% less than last year (1922 trees).

According to information, 2,300 cases of illegal cutting of trees and bushes were detected during this period. An administrative fine in the amount of 3.4 billion soums was imposed on the offenders, and they were also required to compensate 4.3 billion soums of damage caused to the environment.
