The number of private enterprises operating in the Republic reached 92,839 units

According to the State Statistics Committee, the total number of economic entities (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) operating in the Republic as of December 1, 2022 is 588,823 units, of which the number of private enterprises - 92,839 units.

The highest indicators on number of private enterprises were recorded in the following regions:

    Tashkent city - 12,081 units;
    Ferghana region: 11,741 units;
    Kashkadarya region - 11,741 units;
    Samarkand oblast - 8,548 units;
    Surkhandarya Province - 7,354 units.

Distribution of private enterprises by types of economic activity was as follows:

    in trade - 38,402 units;
    in industry - 15,952 units;
    in accommodation and catering - 8,017 units;
    construction - 6,885 units;
    in agriculture, forestry and fishing - 6,423 units.
