The number of victims of the earthquake in Turkiye exceeded 20,000 people

According to the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), 20,318 people were killed and 80,088 injured in the earthquake that struck the south of the country.

In addition, the earthquake destroyed about 6,500 structures in the country.

According to official figures, more than 13 million people were affected by the earthquake in southern Turkiye.
