The opening and closing ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held outside the stadium for the first time

The Organising Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games has appointed renowned French artist Tom Jolly to be in charge of the artistic part of the opening and closing ceremonies.
The ceremonies are planned to be held for the first time outside the stadium, on the River Seine that runs through Paris. The ceremony, which will be a unique revolution in the history of the Olympics, will offer 600 thousand people the opportunity to spectate the event directly from the riverbanks.
