The P1 car park at Tashkent Airport is in the second stage of automation

The P1 car park in front of the Tashkent International Airport's departure terminal, which was commissioned in late November last year, is in the test mode and is doing away with paper tickets.
According to the Uzbekistan Airports Press Service, entering and exiting the car park is done by number plate number only. If the number plate is not detected, the system may not allow a vehicle to enter the car park.
When exiting the car park, the system detects the vehicle's number plate again and compares it with the number plate determined when entering the car park. If the numbers match and the parking fee has been paid, the system will release the vehicle. Previously, drivers of vehicles with unknown number plates were offered a paper rip-off.
Payment, as before, is made through parking machines. Whereas previously a paper ticket could be used, now the number is entered into a parking ticket machine and payment is made in any way.
