The posts of 40 deputy heads have been abolished

A presidential decree on measures to implement the administrative reform of the new Uzbekistan has been signed. According to him, by reducing the tasks of public bodies, not related to the sphere, and the widespread introduction of digital technologies in their work, their structure was optimised by an average of 15%, and the posts of 40 deputy heads in 26 government agencies and organisations were reduced.

In order to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and improve public service delivery to the population, about 30 types of licenses and permits were abolished, more than 70 public services were simplified, the requirement for more than 60 documents by public organisations was abolished due to the introduction of modern management principles in the activities of public authorities.

The number of users of the e-Government system exceeded 4 million and more than 130 information resources of state bodies were created through it.

About 350 types of services have been provided online on a single portal of interactive public services.
