The President of Uzbekistan discussed the progress of joint projects with the Prime Minister of Hungary

Today, April 14, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Uzbek leader sincerely congratulated the head of the Hungarian government on the victory of the coalition of FIDES - the Christian Democratic People's Party in the parliamentary elections in this country.

The two sides congratulated each other on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership, the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary to Uzbekistan in March last year were discussed in detail.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of cooperation projects in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, livestock, food, construction materials, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the banking and financial spheres.

The sides exchanged views on topical issues of international and regional significance. A plan for future high-level events has been considered.
