The President will take part in the Voice of the Global South Summit

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will take part in the plenary session of the Voice of the Global South summit on January 12.
The event, which will be held online as part of India's G20 presidency, will be attended by delegations from 120 countries, including the heads of State and Government of Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and other countries.
The purpose of the summit is to exchange views and develop concrete proposals to promote the interests and solve urgent problems of developing countries, including deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of economy, ecology, energy and food security, healthcare, human resource development, innovation, tourism and other areas.
