The Secretary General of the Turkic Council took part in the Turkish-Kyrgyz business forum and met with the President of Kyrgyzstan

On June 10, 2021, the Turkish-Kyrgyz Business Forum was held in Ankara on the occasion of the first official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to Turkey. Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev also took part in the event.

The business forum was held at the premises of the the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and attended by the Members of the Government of Kyrgyzstan, as well as prominent businessmen of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. The event was organized by TOBB President Rifat Hisarciklioglu.

In his message, President Sadyr Japarov spoke about the measures taken by him as the newly elected President to significantly improve the country's investment climate, protect foreign investments and other measures that should facilitate the work of foreign investors in Kyrgyzstan.

During the business forum, Sadyr Japarov, Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev and TOBB President Rifat Hisarciklioglu held a working meeting, at which they agreed to hold a joint large-scale business forum in Issyk-Kul on August 9, 2021, which will be organized by the Turkic Council, TOBB and TCCI (Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry). During the negotiations, the Secretary General reported to the President on the current activities of the Turkic Council and informed him about the upcoming events and undertakings of the Organization.
