The sixth meeting of the SCO Leaders in Science and Technology was held

The sixth meeting of the heads of ministries and organizations responsible for the development of science and technology of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states was held on April 8 under the chairmanship of the Uzbek side.

During the event, the plan of cooperation of the SCO member states in the field of science and technology for 2022-2025 was discussed. The sides also discussed the program for the development of artificial intelligence in cooperation with the SCO member states, which was included in the agenda at the initiative of the Uzbek side, and other issues.

For information, a meeting of heads of ministries and organizations responsible for the development of science and technology of the SCO member states has been held since 2010.

The event is an effective platform for the establishment and improvement of scientific, technical and innovative cooperation, as well as the further strengthening of mutually beneficial ties between science and technology between the SCO member states.
