The Tashkent Medical Academy has won a $ 5 million grant from South Korea

The Tashkent Medical Academy and the Korea International Health Foundation (KOFIH) have signed a $ 5 million contract.

The grant is designed for 2022-2025 and aims to increase the educational and pedagogical potential of the Tashkent Medical Academy by attracting leading medical professionals from around the world.

It also provides for the staff of the Academy to undergo internships at these centers and purchase the necessary medical equipment.

Rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy Alisher Shodmonov noted that this cooperation between KOFIH and the Academy will be continued in other joint projects.

It should be noted that currently the Tashkent Medical Academy has 66 cooperation agreements with foreign countries, 9 of which are in cooperation with Yonsei, Jangan, Aju Universities of South Korea, Budan Clinic at Seoul National University, ASAN Medical Center, Inha University in Tashkent.
